Darleen Simkins

Darleen is a dedicated public servant, union member, musician, mother and grandmother. She has worked for Washington state government for 27 years with nine state agencies including the Local Government Fiscal Note Program at the Department of Commerce and the Business Development Program at the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission. She and her husband, Ray, live in the southeast neighborhood, near Madison Elementary, where they raised their two children, Adrien and Thalia.
